Borrowing Policy

 

BORROWING INVENTORY

Within three (3) business days, you should receive a confirmation email in response to your request. Within this email you will notice an outlined pick up date and return deadline. All rented items will be available for pickup between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on your assigned day in Brickyard, within cubicle #611. We strongly encourage you to bring your own cart or dolly with you when picking up the items, depending on the amount you are renting.

When it comes time to return the items, you will return all items to the same place you picked up. Please return between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. if possible. When returning inventory items, they must be in the same condition you borrowed them in. This means all items put back into their original packing, nothing damaged, and everything stain free. Specifically, vases need to be wiped down and cleaned and linen* needs to be cleaned and folded.

*If borrowing linen, you have two options in regards to cleaning. You can wash them at your own cost utilizing commercial/residential washer and dryer and return them clean and folded OR you can return all linen dirty in the bag provided and you will be billed for all inquired costs of cleaning ($8.00/linen).

 

ALLOWED DURATION OF ITEMS

Due to the increased demand, inventory can only be borrowed for a maximum of 7 days, with the first day starting upon pickup. It is your responsibility to coordinate getting the items back to Brickyard by the 7th day. If for some reason you need the items longer than the 7 days let us know before you pick up the items and we will do our best to accommodate.

If you have not returned the items by the 7th day, and have not communicated with us by the 7th day, we will consider the inventory items not returned and you will be responsible for the replacement value.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

The person checking out the inventory is the one responsible for the inventory, whether or not they are the ones actually using it. Please note you are accepting the responsibility of these items and making sure the items get back to us within the 7 day period.

 

DAMAGED INVENTORY

If the inventory is damaged or unusable upon return, you will be responsible for the outlined replacement value. Also, if the items are never returned you will be charged for the replacement value.

When browsing through the items on this site, you will find the replacement value noted on the specific item’s page. You can see this by clicking “more info” just below the picture of the item of interest. For the majority, the value listed is per item, unless otherwise noted. If you are unclear about the replacement value, feel free to check with us prior to borrowing.
